50/50 Raffle Rules
• Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia.
• Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.

The 50/50 Raffle is a draw where the money received in ticket sales is divided evenly between the winner and the charity society.
100 single tickets available for $10 each, 312 tickets available in the 3/$25 packs, 864 tickets available in the 8/$50 packs, and 2200 tickets available in the 20/$100, totaling 3476 tickets maximum.
50/50 maximum payout will be determined by gross 50/50 tickets sold. At current ticket package breakdown, the maximum prize possible is $10,000.
All sales are final once a ticket number is assigned, subject to credit approval.

The draw will be held at the office of Surrey Hospice Society (#209 - 8236 128 Street, Surrey, BC, V3W 4G2) The winner is drawn using the raffle box ticket draw system.
It is not required to be present at the draw to claim the prize.
Winners
The winner of the 50/50 raffle will be contacted on January 30, 2026 after the 50/50 draw. They will be contacted by our Executive Director and listed on our raffle webpage, at www.surreyhospice.com/50-50.
Winner is responsible to pick up prize in the form of a cheque from our office.
The winner consents to the release of their names by the licensee. Each winner, by accepting a prize, grants the licensee full permission, except where legally prohibited, to use such winner’s name, address (city only), and prize information for advertising and promotional purposes.
A presentation of the cheque photo can be taken at our office with the written permission of the winner while picking up the cheque.
You must be over 19 years old to play. If a winning ticket bears a minor’s name, the prize will be lawfully delivered on behalf of the minor to the minor’s parent, legal guardian, or trustee.
No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the Surrey Hospice Society or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.

Delays
Should the draw be delayed, it will be held as soon as possible after the scheduled draw time of 1 pm on January 30, 2026. If the delay is large enough that it prevents the draw from occurring on January 30, 2026 as scheduled, the following will be done.
1. A new draw date will be scheduled for as soon as reasonably possible.
2. The delay and the new draw date will be posted at the top of this webpage.
3. The delay and new draw date will be communicated by email to raffle ticket purchasers.
4. The rescheduled draw will take place and the winner will be contacted and announced as usual.
