50/50 RAFFLE – RULES OF PLAY

1. Eligibility
The 50/50 raffle is open to all individuals 18 years of age or older who are physically present at the venue on the date of the game. Employees, directors, and volunteers of Scarborough Shooting Stars Society, and members of their immediate households, are not eligible to purchase tickets or win.
2. Ticket Sales
Tickets are sold exclusively at the venue during each home game. Sales begin approximately 1 hour prior to tip-off and close at the end of the third quarter / intermission. Tickets are sold for $5 each, 3 for $12 or 10 for $30 and 20 for $50 (or as posted at point of sale). No tickets will be sold after the designated cut-off time.
3. How to Enter
Purchasers receive an electronic ticket via rafflebox (www.rafflebox.org). One portion is retained by the purchaser as the winning ticket claim; the other is deposited into the official draw drum at the point of sale. Tickets must be kept on the purchaser's person at all times during the event.
4. The Draw
One (1) winning ticket will be drawn at random from the official draw drum during the final quarter or immediately following the conclusion of the game. The draw is conducted by an authorized representative of Scarborough Shooting Stars Society. The draw is open to the public.
5. Prize
The prize is fifty percent (50%) of the total net ticket sales for that game. The remaining 50% is retained by Scarborough Shooting Stars Society for charitable gaming purposes. No alternate prize will be awarded. The prize amount will be announced before the draw.
6. Claiming the Prize
The winning ticket holder must present the winning ticket number to an authorized raffle representative. The winner has 6 months to claim their prize. The winner must provide valid government-issued photo identification confirming they are 18 years of age or older.
7. Responsibility of Licence
Scarborough Shooting Stars Society assumes full responsibility for the conduct of the raffle in compliance with the AGCO Lottery Licensing Policy and the Criminal Code of Canada. Records of all sales, draw results, and prize payments will be maintained and reported to the AGCO as required.
