The Sundown Optimist Baton Group (SOBG) was formed in 1967 and is a competitive baton twirling non-profit organization dedicated to the development and support of world class athletes. Our club promotes the development of baton twirling at the recreational level with the goal to develop world caliber baton twirlers, groups and teams through quality instruction, personal development, skill development, and teamwork inside and outside of the club. We strive to develop strong, dedicated, healthy, and well rounded young adults by providing opportunities to build character, strive for excellence, and build long lasting friendships.

With ever increasing costs, we want to raise funds from this 50/50 to maintain our programming by contributing to operational costs such as coaching fees, entry fees, music costs, group competitions, etc.

The twirlers would like to thank everyone for supporting to help keep the sport of baton twirling accessible to all.

RAFFLE RULES

1. Players must be 19 or older, reside in Saskatchewan, and use a major credit card, Visa Debit or MasterCard Debit.

2. Tickets will be available online and sold at a rate of:

· 1 for $10

· 4 for $20

· 20 for $50

· 100 for $100

3. Ticket sales will end on May 31, 2026 at noon with the draw taking place at Martin School of Dance and Baton, A-520 12th Ave E, Regina, SK S4N 7N2 on May 31, 2026 at noon.

4. The winner will receive a cash prize of 50% of ticket sales up to a maximum prize of $20,000.

5. Maximum of 40,000 tickets to be sold.

6. All ticket numbers will be emailed to ticket purchasers by the registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) (Rafflebox). A physical ticket will not be mailed out for this draw.

7. The winner will be determined by a random draw using a registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) Random Number Generator (RNG).

8. The raffle is open to all members of the organization, immediate family, and people involved in the conduct of the raffle.

9. The winner will be contacted by phone and email. If the prize goes unclaimed the licensee shall hold the unclaimed prize in a secure location for a period of one (1) year from the date of the draw. If the prize is unclaimed beyond the hold date, the prize/cash equivalent shall be donated to a charitable beneficiary approved by SLGA.
