1. Eligibility
Ticket purchasers must be residents of Alberta and 18 years of age or older at the time of purchase.
Tickets must be purchased using a major credit card or Visa Debit. The billing address associated with the payment method must be an Alberta address.
2. Ticket Sales
Tickets will be sold online at the following price points:
- 1 ticket for $20 (maximum of 200 tickets available)
- 3 tickets for $50 (maximum of 102 packages available)
Total number of tickets available for sale will not exceed the approved licence limit.
3. Sales Period
Ticket sales will begin upon launch and will close on August 14 at 12:00 AM (midnight), unless sold out earlier.
4. Draw Details
The draw will take place online on the day following the close of ticket sales.
The winning ticket will be selected by a random electronic draw from all eligible entries.
5. Prize
The prize available to be won is:
One (1) handmade quilt crafted using South Country Fair T-shirts representing the history of the Fair (approximate retail value: $1,640 CAD)
The prize must be accepted as awarded and has no cash equivalent unless otherwise specified.
6. Winner Notification and Prize Claim
The winner will be notified by telephone and email using the contact information provided at the time of ticket purchase.
The winner must claim their prize within 90 days of the draw date.
If the prize is not claimed within 90 days, a second draw will be conducted from the remaining eligible ticket numbers in accordance with AGLC requirements.
7. Public Announcement
The winning ticket number and winner’s name will be posted on the organization’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
8. Consent to Publish
By purchasing a ticket, participants consent to the use of their name for publicity purposes without additional compensation.
9. Draw Integrity and Participation
Individuals directly involved in the conduct and management of the raffle draw are not eligible to purchase tickets.
Volunteers and their family members who are not involved in the draw process are eligible to participate.
10. Refunds and Final Sale
All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued except in the event of raffle cancellation.
11. Cancellation
If the raffle is cancelled for any reason, all ticket purchasers will receive a full refund.
12. Compliance with AGLC
This raffle is conducted in accordance with the terms and conditions of AGLC Licence #785135 and all applicable Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission policies.
13. Privacy
Personal information collected will be used solely for the administration of this raffle and in accordance with applicable privacy legislation.
