RAFFLE RULES OF PLAY
The Scarborough Basketball Association is excited to announce the launch of our 2025 Fall
Fundraising 50/50 Raffle.
1. Players of this lottery must reside in Ontario, be 18 years of age or older.
2. Tickets will be sold online using the electronic lottery system supplied by Rafflebox for
credit card holders or by e-transfer at info@sbablues.ca. Purchasers must include on
memo portion of the e-transfer their phone number and email address. If this information
is not provided, the ticket cannot be processed and the amount will be refunded. We also
reserve the right to make in-person ticket sales available at special events.
3. The winning prize of the 50/50 Draw will be half of the funds raised.
4. Tickets will be sold at the following rates:
● $5 - 5 tickets ($1/ticket)
● $10 - 15 tickets ($0.66/ticket)
● $20 - 35 tickets ($0.57/ticket)
● $50 - 100 tickets ($0.50/ticket)
● $100 - 250 tickets ($0.40/ticket)
5. After buying, patrons will be provided a receipt with their registered numbers from the
electronic raffle system (Rafflebox). No specific numbers can be given as they are issued
in sequence of order.
6. Winners will be drawn and announced on:
a. December 19, 2025 at 7:00pm (50/50 Prize Winner).
7. Winning ticket will be selected by Rafflebox from all lottery numbers sold for the draw
by the date of each draw. Winner will be determined by random-number generator draw.
Winner will be contacted by phone or email.
8. By purchasing a ticket, purchaser agrees to allow the Scarborough Basketball Association
to use purchaser’s name and image without compensation for any promotional activity
related to this or any future raffle.
9. Winner must provide their name, address, and phone number with picture identification
for our report sheet. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds
will be held until such identification can be provided.

11. In the event that no winner comes forward for a prize, the winning number(s) will be kept
on file in a secure location and held for six months. After that time period has elapsed, the
prize will be donated to an organization other than Scarborough Basketball Association
with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
