Rules of Play
Sale and Issuance of 50/50 Tickets
1. Tickets will be sold online using the electronic lottery system supplied by Rafflebox.
2. The lottery dates below will occur in the Province of Ontario:
Monthly draw sales will begin 12:00 am on the first day of the month and sales will end 11:59 pm on the last day of the month with the exception of the draw for December, 2026. Ticket sales for December 2026 will begin December 1st at 12:00 am and end December 30, 2026 at 11:59 pm. The winning number will be drawn on the first day of the following month, via random number generator using Rafflebox approved online software. The draw for December 2026 will occur on December 31, 2026 via random number generator using Rafflebox approved online software.
3. The following are ticket denominations for eligible players to purchase 50/50 tickets:
50/50 Ticket Denominations:
• 5 numbers for $10.00
• 40 numbers for $20.00
• 150 numbers for $40.00
• 400 numbers for $80.00
4. After buying, patrons will be provided by the seller, a receipt via email with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.
5. A player is solely responsible for ensuring that they receive the correct ticket denomination and is solely responsible for the handling of the purchased ticket after the 50/50 fundraiser has presented the ticket.
6. A player must be 18 years of age or older to buy a ticket.
7. A player must be located in the province of Ontario at the time of purchase.
8. The amount of 50/50 will be determined based on the number and value of tickets purchased. This information will be updated in real-time on the lottery landing page located on the sarniagirlssoccer.com website.
9. The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all lottery numbers sold for the draw.
10. The winning number will be announced on the lottery landing page at https://sarniagirlssoccer.com/online-lottery/.
11. The winner may claim their prize by contacting Sarnia Girls Soccer Club at (519) 542-0212 or sarniagirlssoccerclub@gmail.com. The ticket may then be brought to the Sarnia Girls’ Soccer Club located at 1540 Lottie Neely Rd, Sarnia at an agreed upon time for ticket verification. The winner will then be paid by cheque for the amount posted on the lottery website for which they bought their ticket. Winners must have the original winning ticket and no copies. All payments will be made by cheque. It will take approximately 2 – 3 weeks for the cheque to be prepared for the winner.
12. The winner must provide their name, address, and phone number with picture identification for our report sheet.
13. Once the certified winner is verified, and provides identification with photo ID, they will be given a cheque in the amount of the declared prize which is, at minimum, 50 percent of the total sales for that draw. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.
14. The winning ticket holder has six months to claim their prize from the date of the draw their ticket was purchased for.
15. In the event that no winner comes forward, the winning number will be kept on file in a secure location and held for six months. After that time period has elapsed, as per lottery licensing policy, unclaimed prizes will be donated to a beneficiary approved by the licensing authority.
16. The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the 50/50 draws: Sarnia Girls’ Soccer Club board member, and staff, residents outside of Ontario, anyone under the age of 18.
17. The above set of rules will be posted on the lottery website.
