The Rotary Club of Red Deer Sunrise and the Red Deer Pro Rodeo have teamed up to provide an exciting raffle prize during the rodeo while raising significant funds for community organizations.

The Rotary Club of Red Deer Sunrise is a service club that has fun and gets things done under the umbrella of Rotary International, which is a worldwide network of 1.4 million people of action who tackle the most persistent problems in our communities while building professional and leadership skills through meaningful connections. The sunrise club meets Wednesdays at 7 AM.

· Access for All Wheelchair Accessible Playground at Mattie McCullough Elementary School in Red Deer ($500,000)
· Camp Waskaway, a collaboration with Youth HQ and Boys & Girls Club, to develop a new leadership camp for youth ages 13 – 17 in Central Alberta ($15,000)
· Mel Stevenson Art Student Scholarships awarded each year in Red Deer High Schools ($1,400)
· Additional money has been raised that the Rotary Club of Red Deer Sunrise has invested into central Alberta groups through grants and putting towards a yet to be announced major project.

1) Ticket purchasers must be 18 years of age or over. Online purchases must be made in the province of Alberta. In-person purchase must be at Westerner Park 4847A 19 St, Red Deer, AB. If it is determined prior to the draw that a ticket has been issued to a minor, the ticket is deemed void and the purchaser refunded. If a draw occurs and the licensed charity determines the prize winner is under 18 years of age, the ticket is deemed void, and a second draw will be conducted. Do not destroy your ticket until a winner is identified or 90 days after the draw date.

2) The Rotary Sunrise Red Deer Pro Rodeo 50/50 will have one (1) draw. The draw will be on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at or about 8:45 PM; sales will commence on-line at 12:01 AM Friday, May 1, 2026, and in-person at Westerner Park when the doors open for Red Deer Pro Rodeo Thursday May 21, 2026. Sales end at 8:30 PM Saturday, May 23, 2026. The draw is to be conducted on site at 4847A 19 St, Red Deer, AB and is open to the public. Due to the fact that this is an electronic raffle, in the event of a weather, emergency, communication failure or power failure event which prevents the draw from being conducted. The draw will then take place at the next opportunity once communications and / or power are restored.

3) The draw will be under the supervision of an ERS administrator and two executives of the Rotary Club of Red Deer Sunrise. In the event the Raffle sells out, then the Rotary Sunrise Red Deer Pro Rodeo 50/50 ticket sales will cease on-line and in-person, and the draw will take place as scheduled. The ERS administrator reserves the right to cease on-line sales early if it believes the in-person sales demand is sufficient to reach a sellout.

4) The Raffle draw will be conducted using an RNG (Random Number Generator) system. The winning Raffle draw number shall be determined from the pool of valid sold Raffle ticket numbers.

5) The following individuals are not permitted to purchase tickets in the Raffle; the Board of Directors of the Rotary Club of Red Deer Sunrise, employees of RaffleBox Technologies Inc. and their immediate family members.

6) The Cash value of the Rotary Sunrise Red Deer Pro Rodeo 50/50 prize will be 50% of ticket sales. A total of 67,349 tickets will be available to be sold: with 99 individual tickets at $10 each, 1,950 sets of 5 tickets for $20, 500 sets of 25 tickets for $50, 250 sets of 100 tickets for $100, and 40 sets of 500 tickets for $250.

7) Prize must be accepted as awarded - no substitutions. The winner has 90 calendar days from the date of the draw to claim their prize in person. Any costs associated with the delivery of a prize due to distance or unique circumstances will not be covered by the Raffle.

8) It is the responsibility of the winner to check their ticket at the Raffle website at rotary5050.com, while Rotary Sunrise Red Deer Pro Rodeo 50/50 will attempt to contact the winner via all means possible. The winning number will be posted on the Rotary Sunrise Red Deer Pro Rodeo 50/50 Raffle website rotary5050.com, within 4 hours following the draw. For marketing and analytic purposes, the raffle will use rotary5050.com which will direct all sales to the Rafflebox Technologies Inc. site.

9) If a winner cannot be located or verified, after the period of 90 days from the draw date, the prize will be added to the proceeds of the Raffle and donated to a charitable organization(s) approved by the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis commission and the Rotary Club of Red Deer Sunrise board.

10) In the event of a winning ticket stub has more than one name the licensee will award the prize to the first name listed on the stub. The licensee and AGLC are not responsible for resolving any disputes which may arise from the different individuals. In the event the winning ticket is marked as 'REPRINT', the ERS administrator in consultation with AGLC will determine if the ticket is valid, and may choose to wait until the 90 day deadline to award the prize. If more than one ticket is presented for the prize, the ticket not marked 'REPRINT' will be the winning ticket. Photographs are not acceptable proof of winning number.

11) If any ticket purchased has been entered in the draw, no refund will be issued within 4 hours of the draw taking place.

12) All decisions of the ERS administer are final.
