ONLINE 50/50 DRAW RAFFLE LICENCE
December 1 TO August 3, 2026
1.The lottery will take place online during the August 3rd draw
2.Winning ticket numbers will be announced by email and on our website at portcolborneoperaticsociety.com
3. All tickets will only be sold to people who are 18 years of age or older
4. Must be in the province of Ontario at the time of purchase
5.Tickets are: 5 tickets for $15, 10 tickets for $20, 30 tickets for $50, and 100 tickets for $100
6. Participants must purchase a ticket for a chance to win
7. The winner wins 50% of the total collected for the 50/50 draw.
8. Tickets will be available online at https://www.rafflebox.ca/raffle/pcos
9. After buying, patrons will receive a confirmation e-mailed with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.
10. The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw.
11. The amount of the 50/50 will be announced during Canal Days on August 3rd, 2026, just before the draw and will be posted at portcolborneoperaticsociety.com and social media sites.
12. Tickets will be sold using electronic raffle system supplied by Rafflebox.
13. The winning number will be announced during Canal Days on August 3rd, 2026, as well as posted at portcolborneoperaticsociety.com and social media sites immediately afterward.
14. The winning ticket will be verified through Rafflebox and by two PCOS representatives.
15. The winner will be contacted after the festival and is not obliged to be present for the draw.
16. The winner may claim their prize by contacting Linda Johnston by email at: treasurer@pcos1945.com. The prize can be claimed upon verification of the ticket. The winner will then be paid by cheque for the amount announced at Canal Days August 3rd, 2026, and posted on the website. Winners must have the original winning ticket and no copies. All payments will be made by cheque.
17. The winning ticket holder has 6 months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw. Prizes which are not claimed will be secured or placed in safekeeping. If at the end of six (6) months the prize has still not been claimed, the prize will be donated to a beneficiary approved by the licensing authority.
