COMMUNITY 50/50 RAFFLE FOR KIRSTEN’S PLACE

Citizens of Mountain View County and surrounding area can support the every dy operation of

Kirsten’s Place by participating in the monthly community 50/50 raffle organized by the Olds

lions Club. All net proceeds will be turned over to Kirsten’s Place. The Olds Lions Club will

ensure that a monthly prize is available by contributing $500 to each monthly draw.

1. Players must reside in Alberta, be 18 years or older, and use a major credit card, Visa debit or MasterCard debit. Credit cards used for payment must have an Alberta address.

2. Tickets will be available on line and sold at a rate of:

• 1 for $10 (200 tickets available) $2000

• 4 for $20 (500 packages available) $10000

• 20 for $50 (100 packages available) $5000

• 100 for $100 (30 packages available) $3000

3. Ticket sales will normally end on the last Tuesday of any month as stipulated on the license or when all eligible tickets have been sold.

4. The winner will be determined by a random draw utilizing an Alberta Gaming Liquor Commission (AGLC) registered electronic raffle supplier (ERS) Random Number Generator (RAFFLEBOX)

5. The winning number will be generated by an executive member of the OLDS, LIONS CLUB(President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Club Administrator or Raffle Chairperson) with at least one non-Lion member of the public present. Any member of the public is able to attend the generation of the winning ticket.

6. The winning ticket shall receive a minimum of $250 or 50% of sales, whichever is greater, to a maximum of $10,000

7. All ticket numbers will be mailed to ticket purchasers by the registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) (Rafflebox). A physical ticket will not be mailed out for any draw.

8. The winner will be contacted by phone and email. Payment will be by cheque. The winner has 90 days to claim their prize, a second draw from the same numbers will occur after 90 days if the prize is unclaimed.

9. Draw results will appear under the “winners” tab found on the main raffle page.

10. By playing you consent to having your name and winning number published.

11. All the profit generated by this 50/50 raffle will be given to Kirsten’s Place (A non-profit Society organized to manage Kirsten’s Place, a new women’s/persons Place In Olds and Mountain View County in the province of Alberta.)
