Rules of Play for
Capitol Centre 50/50 Electronic Raffle Fundraiser

Ticket Sales: The Capitol Centre Electronic 50/50 raffle will be available Online and In-venue for all scheduled Capitol Centre Presents performances. Capitol Centre Presents performances can be seen on the Capitol Centre website.

In-Venue tickets will be sold 45 minutes before the performance starts and will close when the performance begins if there is no intermission, or after the intermission ends when applicable.

Online tickets will be sold beginning on the first day of each month and will end on the last day of each month at 11:59 pm. See chart below:

Ticket Prices: An eligible player may participate by purchasing a 50/50 ticket in the following denominations:

1 for $5, 3 for $10, 10 for $20, and 50 for $50.

In-Venue: Tickets can be purchased electronically by handheld machines supplied by Rafflebox Technologies Inc., via Cash, Debit or Credit (Visa/MasterCard only).

Online: Tickets purchased online may be done via Visa/MasterCard by way of mobile phone, computer, or tablet.

Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age and older and a resident of Ontario to purchase tickets.

Ticket Draw: Completed electronically through Rafflebox Technologies Inc. on the schedule below. The Winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation system from all raffle numbers sold In-venue and Online for the Capitol Centre 50/50 draw.

Winner Announced: Winning ticket number and amount will be announced on the dates and times listed above on the following sites:

Winners will also be contacted by phone and/or email.

When to claim Prize: Winners are not required to be present in order to win; however, the winning prize must be claimed within six (6) months from the date of the draw.

The Winner may claim their prize by contacting the Capitol Centre Box Office at 705-474-4747 or boxoffice@capitolcentre.org. Once the winning ticket has been validated, photo ID is presented and the prize has been claimed, the name of the Winner may be publicly posted on all the websites mentioned above. The Winner must have the original winning ticket if purchased In-venue, or the proof of purchase email if purchased Online.

Any prizes which are not claimed must be secured or placed in safekeeping for a period of six (6) months from the date of the draw. If at the end of six (6) months the prize has still not been claimed, the prize will be donated to another Registered Charity other than the Capitol Centre and approved by the Alcohol Gaming Commission of Ontario.

Winnings Disbursement: The winner will receive a cash prize of 50% of ticket sales, including both Online and In-venue sales. The prize will be issued to the Winner in the form of a cheque which can either be picked up from the Capitol Centre Box Office or sent to the Winner by mail within 10 business days.

General Rules:

The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the draw:

• Paid staff of the Capitol Centre

• Any members or volunteers with signing authority

By purchasing a ticket, the purchaser agrees to allow the Capitol Centre to use the purchaser’s name and image without compensation for any promotional activity related to this or any future raffle.
