RAFFLE POLICIES
1. Little Warriors will operate the raffle according to the Criminal Code (Canada), the Gaming and Liquor Act, the Gaming and Liquor Regulation and Board policies established under the legislation, including these terms and conditions.
2. Little Warriors and our 2026 Raffle adhere to all federal, provincial and municipal laws.
3. Little Warriors raffle event is conducted and managed completely within the province of Alberta.
4. Any approved amendments that affect the awarding of prizes will result in immediate notification to ticket holders by way of advertising and will have unsold tickets amended.
5. Procedures for the secure storage, distribution, and the secure receipt and deposit of cash proceeds are in place.
RAFFLE PRINCIPLES
1. The guiding principles for Little Warriors Raffle:
a) The integrity of gaming will be ensured
b) Gaming policies will reflect a commitment to social responsibility
c) The financial return from our raffle is to be maximized for the benefit of Little Warriors, our programs and the communities in which our programs or activities are undertaken
d) Gaming policies will be supported by sound research and consultation with the public and stakeholders
e) The collection and use of gaming revenue will be open and accountable
f) Gaming activities will meet standards of quality to protect the integrity of gaming activities, provide gaming entertainment value to consumers and help to keep gaming dollars in the province
g) The guiding principles for gaming will be subject to review, to ensure they reflect Albertans’ wishes
RAFFLE RULES
1. Little Warriors has established and will maintain rules to govern the conduct of the draw and awarding of the prize. Rules are available to ticket buyers, if requested.
2. Raffle tickets shall not be sold to a person less than 18 years of age. Purchasers must be residents of Alberta.
3. A requirement that the licensed charity’s raffle ticket sellers advise adult ticket buyers not to write the name of a person under 18 years of age on the ticket.
4. Owners and/or employees of RaffleBox will not be eligible to purchase tickets.
5. Little Warriors Staff, Board Members and Volunteers are eligible to purchase tickets for this raffle.
6. Ticket sales will end on September 2, 2026 at 3:15pm with the draw taking place on September 2, 2026 at 3:16pm in Edmonton, Alberta.
7. One number will be drawn using a Random Number Generator on September 2, 2026 at 3:16pm. If a prize winner cannot be located or contacted, Little Warriors will secure or place in safekeeping the unclaimed prize for a period of 1 year. If at that time the prize has still not been claimed, the prize will be used as gaming proceeds for Little Warriors.
8. Ticket buyers can cancel this raffle ticket up to 48 hours after purchase and receive a full refund on their ticket.
9. If a winning ticket has more than one name affiliated with it, the licensed charity shall award the prize to only one of the individuals identified on the ticket, and that the licensed charity and the AGLC are not responsible for any disputes which may arise between the different individuals whose names appear on the ticket stub.

TICKET REQUIREMENTS AND SALES
1. Tickets will be available online and sold at a rate of: 1 for $10 – 49 tickets available, 5 for $25 – 1100 tickets available, 20 for $50 – 2400 tickets available, 100 for $100 – 8000 tickets available
2. Winner will be awarded 50% of all raffle proceeds.
3. Raffle tickets will be sold online with payments via credit card being accepted.
4. No person shall be obligated to purchase raffle tickets as a condition of registration for a licensed charity’s programs or services.
5. Tickets shall be numbered consecutively.
6. Tickets shall be delivered via email to purchaser. Ticket will also be saved in third party software system.
7. Little Warriors will arrange transfer of prize to winner in most convenient and safest way (bank transfer, cashier cheque, bank draft, etc.)
