The Calgary Horticultural Society has been cultivating Calgary's gardening community for 116 years. Our mission is to encourage gardening for the enhancement of our environment and quality of life. We education, promote, and support gardening in the Calgary area. Calgary offers a growing environment that challenges many gardeners. We want all gardeners to be successful.  Gardening is an activity that touches many aspects of life: art and design, food and nutrition, health and wellness, urban forestry and the environment, family legacies, neighbourhoods, community, and more.
