Raffle
The lottery will take place online, on the following dates:
April 15, 12:01am – May 14, 2022, 9am (Draw May 14, 10am)

1. All tickets will only be sold to people who are 18 years
of age or older.
2. Ticket purchasers must be in the province of Ontario at
the time of purchase.
3. Tickets can be purchased for $10.00 for 3 numbers, $20.00
for 10 numbers, $50.00 for 50 numbers and $100.00 for 200 numbers.
4. Tickets can be purchased online at https://www.rafflebox.ca/raffle/hhoa
5. Tickets will be sold using an electronic raffle system
supplied by Rafflebox
Fundraising Solutions.
6. After buying, patrons will receive a confirmation
e-mailed with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No
specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.
7. The amount of the 50/50 will be displayed on the HHOA lottery site https://www.rafflebox.ca/raffle/hhoa
8. The winning ticket number will be selected by the Random
Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw, and
posted on the website https://www.rafflebox.ca/raffle/hhoa
9. The winner may claim their prize by contacting the HHOA
at: (705) 457-9664, or by email at: [email protected]
The ticket may then be brought to the HHOA office
at 6712 Gelert Rd., Haliburton, ON) at an agreed upon time for ticket
verification. The winner will then be paid by cheque for the amount posted at
the event for which they bought their ticket. Winners must have the original
winning ticket and no copies. All payments will be made by cheque. By
purchasing a ticket, winners agree to the use of their name, picture, city, and
ticket number for publicity purposes by the HHOA.
10. The winning
ticket holder has 6 months in which to claim their prize from the date of the
draw for which their ticket was purchased.
11. The winner must provide his/her name, address, and phone
number with picture identification for AGCO reporting purposes.
12. Once the certified winner is verified, they will be
given a cheque in the amount of the declared prize which is, at minimum, 50% of
the total sales for that draw. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the
winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.
13. In the event that no winner comes forward, the winning
stub will be kept in a safety deposit box and held for 6 months. After that
time period has elapsed the prize will be donated to a local charity other than
the HHOA, with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario
(AGCO).
14. HHOA Staff and HHOA Board members are not permitted to purchase
tickets and are not eligible to win.
