Safe and affordable housing has never been more important to families in our region, and we all need to do our part.

The Fuel It Forward raffle is your chance to win $2000 worth of gas cards AND support Habitat Hamilton’s mission to bring people together to build homes, communities, and hope.

A Habitat home is a hand up, not a handout. Families make their “down payment” with volunteer hours and make mortgage payments that are geared to their income; a proven model that breaks the cycle of poverty and builds stronger communities across Hamilton.

Your ticket gives you a chance to win and gives local families a chance to build a better future. Every dollar raised goes toward Habitat for Humanity Hamilton’s Home Build Program.

The HHCA is a construction association serving the needs of construction and related companies operating in the Industrial Commercial and Institutional construction sectors in our region.

1. ELIGIBILITY

• Participants must be 18 years of age or older

• Open to Ontario residents only

• Anyone directly involved in organizing this specific draw and their immediate family members are excluded from participation

2. TICKET SALES

• Tickets will be sold online through RaffleBox Technologies & in person at designated events

• Sales Period: October 17, 2025 to April 9, 2026 at 7:59 PM EST

• Ticket Prices: 1 ticket for $20, or 3 tickets for $50

• No tickets will be sold after the specified cutoff time

• All ticket sales are final - no refunds

3. PRIZES

• Grand Prize: One (1) $2,000 fuel gift card

• Winner may choose the fuel retailer/brand for their gift card

• Prize has no cash surrender value and is not transferable

4. DRAW PROCEDURES

• Draw Date: April 9, 2026

• Draw Time: 8:00 PM EST

• Draw Location: Michelangelo's Banquet Centre, 1555 Upper Ottawa St., Hamilton, Ontario L8W 3E2

• Draw will be conducted electronically through RaffleBox Technologies

• Winner will be selected by random electronic draw

5. WINNER NOTIFICATION

• Winner will be contacted by phone and/or email within one (1) business day following the draw

• Winner's name and city of residence will be posted on Habitat for Humanity Hamilton's website and social media channels

• Contact will be made using information provided during ticket purchase

6. PRIZE CLAIMS

• Winner must claim prize within six (6) months from the draw date

• Prize must be claimed in person at: 285 Nash Road North, Unit 1, Hamilton, ON L8H 7P4

• Winner must provide valid government-issued photo identification

• Winner may be required to sign a declaration and release form

7. UNCLAIMED PRIZES

In the event of an unclaimed prize, the following steps will be taken:

• Attempt to locate winner through telephone and address information provided during ticket purchase

• Send registered letter to winner's address

• Advertise in local media within 120 days following the draw, listing names and city of residence of unclaimed prize winners

• Records of all contact attempts will be maintained

• Unclaimed prizes will be held in trust for six (6) months from the draw date

• After six months, unclaimed prize value will be included in the gross proceeds of the lottery event

8. GENERAL CONDITIONS

• This raffle is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws

• Habitat for Humanity Hamilton reserves the right to cancel or modify this raffle if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary

• All decisions regarding this raffle are final

• Participation constitutes acceptance of these rules
