Fort McMurray Society of Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Raffle Rules

1. Ticket sales will begin February 27, 2026.

1 for $10 - 100 Tickets

4 for $20 – 5008 tickets available

20 for $50 – 9820 tickets available

100 for $100 - 49400 tickets available

2. Persons must be 18 years of age to purchase a ticket. The name of a minor must not be written on the ticket. If it is determined prior to the draw that a ticket has been issued to a minor, the ticket is deemed void and the purchaser refunded.

3. Tickets sales must take place within Alberta. Persons visiting from out of province may purchase a ticket is the entire transaction of payment and receipt occurs while in Alberta. There are no persons prohibited from purchasing raffle tickets

4. Board members, staff and their immediate family (a spouse, parent, son, daughter, brother, sister, or the spouse of any of these individuals) are eligible to receive raffle prizes.

5. There is no minimum number of tickets that must be sold before requesting a draw date extension or cancelation of the raffle. No draw date extension will be applied.

6. Prize draw on May 4, 2026

7. Prizes will be awarded in order of ticket number 1st prize - 1st ticket drawn. The winning ticket will be chosen by RNG.

8. 1st prize is 50% of total tickets sales to a maximum of $49,995 cash.

9. If the system experiences any technical difficulties during the draw or power outage the FMSPCA reserves the right in its solo discretion to (i) cancel the Raffle; or (ii) suspend the raffle until the problem can be remedied, whereabout it will resume.

10. The AGLC will be notified in writing by the Fort McMurray SPCA of an unclaimed prize and will request that the prize(s) be liquidated and moneys received will be donated to the Fort McMurray SPCA for use by approved method with AGLC approval.

11. Tickets: After purchase, no tickets will be accepted for refund.

12. Only tickets that have been paid for, and verified as paid for, are eligible for the respective draw/s.

13. Tickets will only be purchased online with credit card.

14. The draw will take place at Fort McMurray SPCA at 155 MacAlpine Cres in Fort McMurray, AB. The draw is open to the public

15. All procedures set by AGLC will be adhered to for the draw.

16. If more than one name is written on a winning ticket stub, that the prize will be awarded to only one of the individuals named on the ticket stub. Neither the Fort McMurray Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals nor AGLC is responsible for any disputes among the individuals whose names are written on the ticket stub Any/all winner (s) have one year from date of draw to claim their prize.
