Etobicoke Humane Society – Raffle Rules 2026
1. All tickets will be sold only to people who are 18 years of age or older.
2. Tickets will be sold online using the electronic lottery system supplied by Rafflebox.
3. The lottery dates below will occur in the Province of Ontario.
● July 12th, 2026 (Lottery sales begin) to August 16th,2026 (Lottery sales end)
● Early Bird Prize 1: $250 cash - Draw date: July 19, 2026
● Early Bird Prize 2: Blue Jays Tickets x4 ($1,430) - Draw date: July 26, 2026
● Early Bird Prize 3: $250 cash - Draw date: August 2, 2026
● Early Bird Prize 4: Blue Jays Autographed Baseball (~$300 ) - Draw date: August 9, 2026
● Main Draw: 50% of Proceeds - Draw date: August 16, 2026
4. Tickets are:
● 100 for $50
● 5 for $20
● 1 for $10
5. After purchasing, patrons will receive a receipt containing their 50/50 ticket numbers. Numbers are assigned automatically by the Random Selection System and cannot be selected or requested.
6. The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all lottery numbers sold for the draw.
7. The amount of the 50/50 will be determined based on the number and value of tickets purchased.
8. The draw will be done at 67 Six Point Road, Etobicoke, ON M8Z 2X3 and the winning number will be updated in real time on the lottery landing page and on the Etobicoke Humane Society website.
9. In the event of a technical failure or unforeseen circumstances that prevent the raffle from proceeding as planned, Etobicoke Humane Society will reschedule the draw to the next available date and notify all ticket holders via email. Any decisions will be made in accordance with Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) guidelines.
10. Winners may claim their prize by contacting the Etobicoke Humane Society at manager-marketing.logistics@etobicokehumanesociety.com. Winners will be paid by cheque for the amount posted on the lottery website for which they bought their ticket. Winners must have the original winning ticket and no copies. All payments will be made by cheque.
11. The winning ticket holder has six months to claim their prize from the date of the draw their ticket was purchased for.
12. The winner must provide his/her name, address, and phone number with picture identification for our report sheet.
13. Once the certified winner is verified, and provides identification with photo ID, they will be given a cheque in the amount of the declared prize which is, at minimum, 50 per cent of the total sales for that draw. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.
14. In the event that no winner comes forward, the winning number will be kept on file in a secure location and held for six months. After that time period has elapsed, the prize will be donated to The Etobicoke Humane Society, with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
15. The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the 50/50 draws:
• Residents outside of Ontario
• Anyone under the age of 18
* Please note tickets are only available online and Etobicoke Humane Society Board of Directors and Leadership Volunteers (Managing Directors) as well as their spouses, children and children in law are not permitted to purchase tickets and are not eligible to win.
