Cambridge and District Humane Society 50/50 Raffle

RULES OF PLAY

Cambridge & District Humane Society (CDHS) is excited to announce the launch of our monthly online 50/50 fundraiser! The lottery is licensed by, and will follow the rules set out by, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).

1) Players of this lottery must reside in Ontario and be 18 years of age or older.

Tickets must be purchased by major credit card with an Ontario address.

2) Tickets will be sold online only using an electronic raffle system supplied by

Rafflebox.

3) Tickets will be sold at a rate of 5 for $10; 20 for $20; 100 for $50 until 11:59:59 pm EST on the last day of each month in 2026. The number of tickets sold will be unlimited.

4) Starting each Quarter (Jan 1 April 1 July1 Oct 1) 2026, a new lottery will start each Quarter on the first day of the month and the 50/50 draw will take place at 12:05 pm EST the last day of each Qtr (Jan 31, June 30, Sept 30, Dec 31). The prize amount will be 50% of the ticket sales and will be updated in real time on the lottery website.

5) The Winner will be determined using Rafflebox’s random-number generator draw.

Results will be announced on social media immediately following the draw, and the winner will be contacted by phone or email.

6) The Winner must arrange to collect their prize in person at the Cambridge & District Humane Society (1650 Dunbar Road Cambridge, ON N1R 8J5). At this time, the Winner must provide their phone number, address, a piece of photo ID, and the email receipt with their winning lottery ticket number on it.

7) Once the Winner is verified, they will be awarded their prize by cheque.

8) The winning ticket holder has 6 months from the draw date in which to claim their prize. Unclaimed prizes will be reported to AGCO, and a charitable allocation will be approved by AGCO
