The Prize -

Taffy's parents have kindly donated a two-week stay at their villa on the island of Lanzarote, which is part of the Canary Islands.

Luxury Villa in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote available for TWO WEEKS prior to 31 December 2025 – subject to availability and excluding flights and travel insurance.

Lanzarote is located near Morocco, is owned by Spain, and is a popular tourist destination. Popular attractions include camel riding, wineries, museums, art galleries and exploring the Timanfaya National Park, where you can eat food cooked over a volcano! The island has lots to offer for hikers, bikers, swimmers, and foodies. The volcanic red landscape is beautiful and other-wordly - Lanzarote has often been used as a filming location for movies that are set on another planet. Or, of course, you could always spend your time relaxing at the villa, snoozing by the heated pool, and enjoying the restaurants and ocean fronts that are just 5 minutes walk away.

The Cause

All proceeds from this raffle will go to the Camp Douglas 2024 Campership Fund. At Camp Douglas, we never want finances to be a barrier for children and young people who want to participate in our summer camp program. Funds raised from this raffle will be dedicated to providing bursaries to attend Camp Douglas for campers from low-income households.

Villa comprises –

Master bedroom with ensuite – king size bed, fitted wardrobes, bedside cabinets, ensuite has bath, overhead shower, toilet and large mirror with marble wash basin and vanity bar

Second bedroom – twin beds with fitted wardrobes

Separate shower room – walk in shower, toilet and marble wash basin and vanity bar with large mirror

Entrance hall to main lounge in which is situated two large settees, coffee table, TV (full Sky package) Internet, DVD player, abundance of books, DVD’s, iPod and CD player, board games.

Fully fitted kitchen with breakfast bar, cooker, fridge freezer, dish washer, oven hob and under grill, sandwich maker, microwave, all utensils, crockery, knives, forks etc including picnic set.

Dining area – enclosed with overhead fan/light, table and fitted seating

Patio doors from lounge lead to large external tiled patio with outside seating and coffee table, 4 sun loungers, large table and 4 chairs, plus small table and two shares and an external “Lanzarotian” brick built BBQ (cooking utensils provided)

Pool is heated with three large steps leading into crystal clear water – a love seat at the deep end (1.75m) provides a unique opportunity to relax in the warm waters watching the sun set to the west

Enclosed gardens are of black picon with palm trees, hedging and other typical local plants providing a private setting.

Extra nights/days are available at additional rates – prize is limited to 4 people staying. Charges will apply if more than 4 people stay at same time.
