RAFFLE RULES
1. Players must reside in Alberta, be 18 years or older, and use a major credit card, Visa Debit or MasterCard Debit.
2. Tickets will be available online at library5050.com and sold at a rate of:
● 1 for $10 (55 packages available - 55 tickets)
● 4 for $20 (260 packages available - 1,040 tickets)
● 20 for $50 (95 packages available - 1,900 tickets)
● 100 for $100 (95 packages available - 9,500 tickets)
● 12,495 tickets total
3. The draw is open to the public. Ticket sales will end on June 29, 2026 at 4:00PM MT with the 50/50 draw taking place at Calgary Public Library Foundation, 800 - 3 Street SE, Calgary AB on June 29, 2026 at 4:15PM MT.
4. The 50/50 winner will receive 50% of ticket sales up to a maximum of $10,000.
5. All tickets will be emailed to ticket purchasers by the registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) (Rafflebox). A physical ticket will not be mailed out for this draw.
6. A minimum of 100 tickets must be sold before a request for draw date extension may be made. The new draw date would be posted on the 50/50 raffle site.
7. The winner will be determined by a random draw utilizing an Alberta Gaming Liquor Commission (AGLC) registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) Random Number Generator (RNG).
8. The winner will be contacted by phone and email by a Calgary Public Library Foundation staff member. The winner has 90 days to claim their prize; if the prize remains unclaimed after 90 days the prize will be donated to the Calgary Public Library Foundation charitable organization, upon AGLC approval.
9. Draw results will appear under the "Winners" tab found on the main raffle page.
10. If more than one name is written on a winning ticket stub, the prize will be awarded to only one of the individuals named on the ticket stub (to the first name listed). Neither the Calgary Public Library Foundation nor AGLC is responsible for any disputes among the individuals whose names are written on the ticket stub.
11. By playing you consent to having your name and winning numbers published.
12. The following individuals are not eligible to purchase tickets for the 50/50 draws: Calgary Public Library Foundation board members and staff.
13. All ticket sales are final. Once a ticket has been purchased, refunds will not be granted.
14. As the Electronic Raffle Supplier is hosted by AWS, there is no risk of power failure impacting the draw.
