RULES OF PLAY FOR 50/50 RAFFLE DRAW

This raffle is licensed by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario and is subject to regulations set by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (“AGCO”) Purchaser must be 18 years or older to play. Tickets will be sold using an electronic raffle system supplied by Raffle Box. Tickets can be purchased online at https://www.rafflebox.ca/raffle/asp Tickets can be purchased for $10.00 for 5 numbers, $20.00 for 20 numbers, $40.00 for 60 numbers, and $75.00 for 150 numbers. Purchases can only be made online at https://www.rafflebox.ca/raffle/asp with a credit card. No other forms of payment will be accepted at this time.
After buying, the purchaser will be provided with, by Alzheimer Society of Peel or its affiliated sellers, a receipt with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly. One winning ticket number will be selected every quarter by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system for 50% of the Cash Jackpot amount available for the quarter. The draw for fiscal 2022/23 will be in accordance with the following draw schedule:

Alzheimer Society Peel - 50/50 Draw Schedule (Fiscal 2022/23) *Winner for each draw will be awarded 50% of the proceeds - Quarterly **Expenses related to the draw will be paid from the organizations proceeds - Quarterly The value of the Cash Jackpot available for any given quarter can be seen at https://www.rafflebox.ca/raffle/asp for the current quarter. Ticket sales will occur quarterly based on the schedule, the draw for each quarter will take place on the first or second business day of the month following the end of a quarter. The draw date for each quarter will be posted on the main page of the lottery website, along with the total Cash Jackpot amount. Please note 50% of the posted Cash Jackpot amount will be the winning prize for the ticket purchaser.
Alzheimer Society Peel Staff, Board of Directors members and immediate family members of both are not permitted to purchase tickets and are not eligible to win any prizes. Neither a prize (or portion thereof), nor any entitlement or payment relating to it, may be assigned, transferred, sold, loaned, leased, rented, pledged, mortgaged or hypothecated, by any winner. Alzheimer Society of Peel will not award a prize for tickets which are void unless Alzheimer Society of Peel, in its discretion, deems it appropriate to do so. Tickets are void if lost, stolen, unissued, illegible, mutilated, damaged, altered, counterfeit or forged, miscut, misregistered, defective, misprinted, cancelled, produced in error and not recorded in the on-line system, incomplete, not paid for, destroyed or issued, acquired or presented, in, or upon, violation of these Rules, or the Game Conditions. Void tickets are the property of the Alzheimer Society Peel.
Jackpot winners have 6 months in which to claim their prize(s) from the date of the draw their ticket was purchased for. Any winner must provide his/her name, address and phone number with identification for verification purpose and forward it to our Fund Development Department - to the attention of Lisa Benedikt at: [email protected] or call 905-278-3667 ext 214 or direct line @ 647-880-6184. Once the certified winner(s) is verified, and provides identification with photo ID, the winner will be given a cheque or EFT in the amount of the declared prize which is, at minimum, 50% of the gross sales net any refunds or voided transactions for that game. If the winners cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.
In the event that no jackpot winner comes forward, the winning number/stub will be kept in a safe and held for 6 months. After that time period has elapsed the prize will be donated to a local charity with the approval of the AGCO. The liability of the licensee of this lottery shall be limited to the purchase price of the ticket. Lottery rules will be posted at https://www.rafflebox.ca/raffle/asp .
