1. Game Description
The Anti-Hunger Coalition Timmins (ACT) 50/50 Raffle is a lottery where individuals purchase
tickets for a chance to win 50% of the total proceeds raised from ticket sales. The remaining
50% supports our charitable programs: Good Food Program, Collective Cooking and Community
Gardens.
Tickets are available for purchase online only through a secure, AGCO-approved electronic
raffle system. A single winner will be selected through a random draw, and that individual will
win 50% of the verified jackpot.
2. Prize Value
• The total prize is 50% of all ticket sales.
• The minimum guaranteed prize is based on total ticket sales.
• Final prize value will be announced on the draw date.
3. Ticket Pricing and Quantity
Ticket prices are as follows:
• 1 ticket for $10
• 5 tickets for $20
• 20 tickets for $40
Total number of tickets available: Unlimited.
4. How the Winner Is Determined
• The winning ticket number will be selected via a Random Number Generator (RNG)
certified for use in Ontario (Rafflebox).
• The draw will occur on the last Friday each month at 187 Cedar St. S. via RaffleBox
online.
• The winning number will be posted on www.antihungercoalition.com within 24 hours of
the draw.
5. Game Disruption or Cancellation
In the event the raffle cannot proceed as intended due to technical failure, natural disaster, or
other unforeseen issues:
• The raffle will be paused, and a notice will be posted online.
• If necessary, a new draw date will be determined in consultation with the licensing
authority.
• If the game must be cancelled entirely, refunds will be issued to all ticket holders.
6. Unclaimed Prizes
• The winner has 6 months from the draw date to claim the prize.
• If the prize is not claimed within this time, the funds will be donated to Anti-Hunger
Coalition’s approved charitable purposes, with AGCO notification as per policy 5.17.1.
7. Eligibility
• Must be 19 years of age or older to purchase a ticket.
• Must be physically located in Ontario at the time of purchase.
• The following individuals are not eligible to purchase tickets or win the prize: board
members, employees administering the draw, and any immediate family members
residing in the same household.
8. Claiming the Prize
• The winner will be contacted using the information provided during ticket purchase.
• Government-issued ID and proof of purchase may be required.
• The winner may be asked for a photo or testimonial for promotional use, with consent.
