50/50 Raffle Rules of Play

1. Participants of this lottery must:

1.1 Reside in and be a resident of Ontario

1.2 Be 18 years of age or older

1.3 Must use a major credit card or a Visa debit card to purchase tickets

1.3.1 Credit cards used for payment must have an Ontario address.

2. Tickets will be available for sale online and we reserve the right to make in-person ticket sales

available at special events.

3. Tickets will be sold at a rate of:

3.1 1 for $5

3.2 3 for $12

3.3 10 for $20

3.4 50 for $50

3.5 100 for $75

4. The winner will be selected by a random generator draw through Rafflebox and subsequently contacted via phone or email.

4.1 The winner may be required to show proof of age and residency by making an appointment with the 50/50 Raffle organizer to meet at the Algonquin & Lakeshore Catholic District School Board office at 151 Dairy Avenue in Napanee, Ontario, K7R 4B2 during Board office hours of operation. 

5. The winner's name, city/town of residency and amount won will be announced on Facebook, Instagram and/or LinkedIn once the winner has been notified.

6. By purchasing a ticket, purchasers agree to allow the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic

Education Foundation to use the purchaser’s name and image without compensation for any

promotional activity related to this or any future raffle.

7. The winning ticket holder has six months to claim their prize from the date of the draw. After that time period has elapsed and the winner does not claim their prize, the earnings will be donated to the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic Education Foundation, with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).

Failure to comply with any of the above rules will result in a loss of the winnings.
