United Way Centraide Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry is launching its first February 50/50 Raffle, inviting the community to turn winter into something positive through the campaign theme “Turn Winter into a Win.”

February can be a challenging time of year, but small wins can make a big difference. The United Way SDG February 50/50 offers a feel-good opportunity to win cash while directly supporting essential programs and services across Stormont, Dundas, Glengarry, Cornwall, and Akwesasne.

Proceeds from the United Way SDG February 50/50 stay right here in the community, supporting vital initiatives that address housing stability and homelessness prevention, food security, mental health and well-being, poverty reduction, and other essential community supports. Every ticket purchased helps create real, local impact.

United Way Centraide Stormont, Dundas et Glengarry lance son tout premier tirage moitié-moitié de février et invite la communauté à transformer l’hiver en quelque chose de positif grâce au thème de la campagne « Transformer l’hiver en victoire ».

Février peut être un mois difficile pour plusieurs, mais de petites victoires peuvent faire une grande différence. Le tirage moitié-moitié de février de United Way Centraide SDG offre une belle occasion de gagner de l’argent tout en soutenant directement des programmes et services essentiels partout à Stormont, Dundas, Glengarry, Cornwall et Akwesasne.

To participate, players must be a resident of Ontario and be at least 18 years of age to purchase. United Way Centraide SDG staff members, Board of Directors, and members of their households are not eligible to purchase 50/50 raffle tickets.

By purchasing tickets, the winners consent to having their name, and winning numbers published.

Only one individual’s name is permitted on the ticket. Adult ticket buyers are advised not to submit the name of a person under the age of 18 years on the ticket stub.

Tickets are available as follows for each draw:

- Series A: 100 sets of 3 tickets for $10

- Series B: 1000 sets of 10 tickets for $20

- Series C: 580 sets of 50 Tickets for $50

Ticket sales will end on Sunday, March 1 at 11:59 PM

This raffle includes an Early Bird prize dinner package valued at $500. Early Bird draw will take place on Friday, February 13, 2026 at 11am at the United Way Centraide SDG Office at 55 Water West, Cornwall, Ontario. The early bird winner can also win the grand prize.

Grand Prize is 50% of the total pot (up to $50,000) and the prize will be drawn on Monday, March 2, 2026 at 11am at the United Way Centraide SDG Office at 55 Water West, Cornwall, Ontario

All ticket numbers will be emailed to purchasers by the registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) whenever possible.

Purchaser and transaction files are continuously backed up by the Electronic Raffle Supplier. In the unexpected event of a power failure the draw will be postponed and take place immediately once power has been restored.

The winner will be determined by a random draw utilizing an AGCO registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) Random Number Generator (RNG).

Winners will be contacted by telephone and/or email within seven (7) days of the draw. The winner has six (6) months to claim their prize. Any prizes which are not claimed will be secured or placed in safekeeping for a period of six (6) months from the date of the draw. If at the end of six (6) months the prize has still not been claimed, the prize will be donated to a beneficiary approved by the licensing authority.

The winner will receive 50% of the total sale proceeds with the other 50% going to the United Way Centraide SDG to support its work in poverty reduction in Stormont, Dundas, Glengarry, Cornwall, and Akwesasne.

Prize is presented in the form of a cheque in the name of the ticket winner. Prize can be picked up by the winner at 55 Water St. W, Cornwall Ontario during the hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday.
