Rules of play for Collingwood Optimist Club 50-50 Draw – “Bursaries for the Blues”

1. All Tickets will be sold only to people who are 18 years of age or older.

2. Tickets will be sold online using the electronic lottery system supplied by Rafflebox.

3. The Lottery dates below will occur in the province of Ontario:

 * All Draws will be held from the Eddie Bush Memorial Arena in Collingwood at the Scotty Carmichael Room

4. Ticket prices are:

3 tickets for $10.00

10 Tickets for $20.00

30 Tickets for $50.00

100 Tickets for $100.00

5. Early Bird prize winners will have their ticket returned to the system to be eligible for the 50-50 prize.

6. After purchasing on the website, patrons will be provided, by Rafflebox, a receipt with their registered numbers from the electronic raffle system. No specific numbers can be given as they are issued in sequential order.

7. The winning ticket will be selected by a Random Number Generator (RNG) system, from all numbers sold for each draw.

8. Each draw will be conducted at the Eddie Bush Memorial Arena at the Scotty Charmichael Room and the winning number will be updated on the lottery landing page and on the Optimist Club of Collingwood and Southern Georgian Bay Website, Facebook (X) and Twitter accounts.

9. Winners may claim their prize by contacting the Optimist Club of Collingwood and Southern Georgian Bay through their representative at 1-705-445-0268 or through the contact page on our website. Winners will be paid by cheque. Winners must have the original winning ticket and not a copy.

10. The winning ticket holder will have 6 months from the draw date their ticket was purchased for, to claim their prize.

11. The winner must provide his/her name, address, and phone number with a picture identification to receive their prize and allow us to report the same to the AGCO.

12. Once the certified winner is verified, and provides identification with photo ID, they will be given a cheque for 50% of the sales for that event, or in the case of the early bird draw the designated prize. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.

13. In the event that no winner comes forward, the winning number will be kept in a secure location and held for six months after the event draw date. After that time period has elapsed the prize will be donated to a beneficiary, with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).

14. The following people are not eligible to participate in the 50-50 draws:

• Persons outside of Ontario

• Anyone under the age of 18

• All Members of the Optimist Club of Collingwood and Southern Georgian Bay and their spouses/partners.

15. The above set of rules will be posted on the lottery website.
