Thalia Barn Cat Rescue Raffle Rules

 1. Players must be individuals,19 years of age or older and must reside in Nova Scotia. Credit cards used for payment must have a Nova Scotia address.

2. Tickets will be available online and sold at a rate of:

• 1 for $5

• 3 for $10 

• 20 for $20

• 100 for $50 

3. Ticket sales will end on May 30th, 2026 with the draw taking place at 1840 Arlington Road in the Mount Rose Community Hall on May 31, 2026. After each monthly draw, more tickets will be sold beginning the first day of the next month and will run to the second last day of the same month with the draw to be the final day of the same month. (Sept 1-29 tickets sales, Sept 30th/2025 draw; Oct 1-30 ticket sales, Oct 31/2025 draw and so on until July 1-30th ticket sales, July 31st/2025 final draw.)

4. The winner will receive a cash prize equal to 50% of total ticket sales. 

5. The winner will be determined by a random draw using Rafflebox Random Number Generator (RNG) software.

6. The winner will be contacted by phone and email. The winner has 30 days to claim their prize, a second draw from the same numbers will occur after 90 days if the prize goes unclaimed. Draw results will be announced on all of our social media platforms.

7. By playing you consent to having your name, winning number, and community published.

8. The person(s) drawing the winning number, involved in the the setup of the draw, or any other approved item for that current draw must not hold a ticket for that draw; this includes the licensee. (Licensee refers to the signatures on the ticket lottery application). Volunteers and family members not involved in the draw are eligible to participate.
