2025-2026 Monthly Lottery House Rules
(a) The draws will be held the last Monday of the month at 10:00am at the Metro Community Housing Association (MCHA) office located at 7071 Bayers Road Suite 280, Halifax, NS. The lottery is licensed to Metro Community Housing Association.
(b) Players must be an individual, a resident of Nova Scotia and at least 19 years of age to purchase. A Nova Scotia drivers license or ID card will be used to determine residency. Only one name is to be entered on a lottery ticket, and only one person is to win the prize.
(c) The draw will take place using the approved & certified Rafflebox Random Number Generator (RNG).
(d) All tickets purchased before the last Sunday before the draw date, at 11:59pm are eligible.
(e) There are no restrictions regarding the purchase of tickets by members of any sponsoring organization or their families.
(f) There is no minimum number of tickets that must be sold.
(g) Only 1 winning ticket number will be produced for the jackpot draws.
(h) The jackpot winning prize will be a cash prize equal to 50% of the gross sales.
(i) If the winner of the prize cannot be located after 90 days and all attempts to locate have failed, then another winner will be drawn at that time in a second draw.
(j) Draw results will be posted on Facebook the day of the draw once winner has been notified. Draw results will also be emailed to players.
(k) Tickets will be available for sale online only at Rafflebox and will be sold at a rate of – 1 for $5; 3 for $10; 20 for $20; 100 for $50
(l) A drop down menu will be provided for purchasers to choose an organization in Nova Scotia that is participating in this raffle. All revenues collected will be disbursed appropriately to the participating organizations and winner by MCHA. Powered by Rafflebox, MCHA takes charge of administering and organizing the monthly lottery. Ultimately, this raffle is governed by the province of Nova Scotia and operates in strict compliance with the online gaming regulations set by the Alcohol and Gaming Division of Nova Scotia (AGD).
