Lethbridge Symphony Association 50/50 Raffle Fundraiser Rules
Purchasers must reside or be in Alberta or be in the province at the time of purchase, be 18 years of age or older, and use a major credit card, Visa Debit, or MasterCard debit for ticket purchases. The name of a minor may not be written on a ticket.
Tickets will be available online and sold at a rate of:
1 ticket for $10
4 tickets for $20
25 tickets for $50
100 tickets for $100
The draw date for the first 50/50 draw is December 17th, 2025. The date for the second draw is May 6th, 2026.
The winner will receive 50% of ticket sales up to a maximum of $10,000.
All ticket numbers will be emailed to ticket purchasers by the registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) (Rafflebox). Physical tickets will not be provided for this draw.
The winner will be determined by a random draw utilizing an Alberta Gaming Liquor Commission (AGLC) registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) Random Number Generator (RNG).
The winner will be contacted by phone and email. The winner will have 30 days to claim their prize. A second draw from the same numbers will occur after 30 days if the prize goes unclaimed.
Draw results will appear under the “Winners” tab found on the main raffle page.
By playing, you consent to having your name and winning numbers published.
Lethbridge Symphony Association members of the board of directors and employees, including their immediate family, are prohibited from purchasing tickets.
Immediate family is defined as the spouse or common-law partner, the dependent children of the person or of the person’s spouse or common-law partner, and any dependent children of a dependent child.
Board of Directors is defined as all current directors, including the president, vice-president, secretary, and treasurer.
Employees are defined as the following roles: executive director, operations manager, finance manager, music director, social media coordinators and event assistant.
Note: the term “employees” does not include musicians, independent contractors, or non-director volunteers of the Lethbridge Symphony Association.
There are no refunds on any tickets purchased for this 50/50 raffle draw.
A minimum of 500 tickets must be sold before requesting a draw date extension or a cancellation of the raffle. A draw date extension or a cancellation may not be approved if the break-even point has been reached.
10,100 tickets will be available for sale as stated in the section marked “pricing”.
The raffle will not have a recurring draw structure and will not offer subscriptions.
Draws will be made online at Rafflebox.ca and will be made open to the public. The winner will receive an email notification from the President and/or the Executive Director of the Lethbridge Symphony Association.
If more than one name is written on a winning ticket, the prize will be awarded to only one of the individuals named on the ticket stub. Neither the Lethbridge Symphony Association nor AGLC is responsible for any disputes among the individuals whose names are written on the ticket stub.
In the event of a power failure, the raffle will still be drawn through Rafflebox.ca and will not be affected by a power failure that impacts the systems of the Lethbridge Symphony Association.
