The Arnprior and District Humane Society is excited to announce the launch of our quarterly online 50/50 fundraiser! The lottery is licensed by, and will follow the rules set out by, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).

1. Eligibility Tickets may only be purchased by individuals 18 years of age or older. And those individuals must reside in Ontario. Tickets cannot be purchased in the name of a person under 18 years of age. Staff of the Arnprior and District Humane Society and those directly involved in conducting the draw are not eligible to purchase tickets.

2. Ticket Sales

Ticket prices:

• 100 for $50
• 30 for $20
• 10 for $10

Tickets must be purchased by major credit card with an Ontario address.

Tickets will be sold online only using an electronic raffle system supplied by Rafflebox.

Draw #1: Tickets will be sold online from January 1st, 2026 to February 15, 2026 (right up until the draw time of 12pm EST) using the Rafflebox platform and the Financial platform of Stripe.

An unlimited number of tickets will be made available for sale.

Draw #2: Tickets will be sold online from February 16th, 2026 to May 1st, 2026 (right up until the draw time of 12pm EST) , 2026 at 11:59:59 EST using the Rafflebox platform and the Financial platform of Stripe.

An unlimited number of tickets will be made available for sale.

Draw #3: Tickets will be sold online from May 2nd, 2026 to September 1st, 2026 (right up until the draw time of 12pm EST), using the Rafflebox platform and the Financial platform of Stripe.

An unlimited number of tickets will be made available for sale.

Draw #4: Tickets will be sold online from September 2nd, 2026 to December 1st, 2026 (right up until the draw time of 12pm EST) using the Rafflebox platform and the Financial platform of Stripe.

An unlimited number of tickets will be made available for sale.

3. The Prize
The prize consists of 50% of the gross ticket sales, rounded to the nearest dollar. The remaining 50% will be retained by The Arnprior and District Humane Society. After all invoices are paid for services from Rafflebox and the AGC0 the remaining amount will be used for vet bills for the animals at the Arnprior Humane Society. All dollar values are in CAD.

4. The Draw
The draws will take place at 12pm on February 15th, May 1st, September 1st and December 1st of 2026 at the Arnprior and District Humane Society located in Arnprior, Ontario.

The winning ticket will be selected randomly using Raffle Box, a system approved by the AGCO.

The draw will be conducted in the presence of at least two witnesses.

5. Winner Notification The winning number will be posted on social media, and listed on the Humane Society's website.
The winner does not need to be present at the draw to win.
The winner will be contacted via phone and/or email if provided at the time of ticket purchase.

6. Prize Claim

Winners have a period of six (6) months to claim their prize. Any prizes which are not claimed must be secured or placed in safekeeping for a period of six (6) months from the date of the draw. If at the end of six (6) months the prize has still not been claimed, the prize or monies equivalent to the fair market value of the prize must be donated to a beneficiary approved by the licensing authority.

The Winner must arrange to collect their prize in person at the Arnprior and District Humane Society located at 490 Didak Dr, Arnprior, ON K7S 3K2.

The winner will need to provide proof of identity in person (phone number, address and a piece of photo ID) in order to claim the prize with the presence of at least two witnesses.

Once the winner is verified, payment will be made via cheque or e-transfer issued by the Arnprior and District Humane Society's Treasurer.

7. General Conditions

All ticket sales are final. No refunds.

Tickets are valid only for the draw date indicated.

The draw is conducted under the supervision of The Arnprior and District Humane Society in compliance with AGCO regulations. Any disputes will be resolved by the Board of Directors of the Arnprior and

District Humane Society in accordance with AGCO guidelines.
