Durham Alliance Outreach is excited to announce our spring online 50/50 fundraiser! - Grab your tickets now!

Durham Alliance Outreach (DAO) exists to help members of our community by providing workshops and lectures on life skills, such as self-esteem, confidence and communication, to the general public, especially the 2SLGBTQ+ individuals of the Durham Region. We also provide peer support groups for youth and adults in Durham Region who identify as 2SLGBTQ+. We provide techniques in coping, self-advocacy, and awareness of issues unique to this community.

We are exceptionally proud to offer our community access to a weekly food bank called “DAO Pantry” This program was created due to the growing disparity of food insecurity in the 2SLGBTQ+ community. Unfortunately, our community still suffers from discrimination from traditional food banks and institutions that do not agree with our lifestyle.

We provide those in need regardless of their gender or gender expression access to food, toiletries and other essential items. Our program was launched on September 10th, 2021 and has continued to support over 80-90 families per week. We have currently exceeded our current capabilities and are looking to expand our current location to facilitate our clients better and modernize our logistical and operational supports.

Our goal for DAO Pantry is to serve more people in need by increasing the accessibility of food assistance for 2SLGBTQ+ & community allies.

We are looking for your support to help us expand our reach & facility to accommodate higher-than-expected demands.

Your support will allow us to continue our hard work and help more people in Durham Region. Funds raised by this raffle will support those in need.

1). Players must reside in Ontario, be 18 years or older, and use a major credit card, Visa Debit or MasterCard Debit. Credit cards used for payment must have an Ontario Address.

2). Tickets will be available online and sold at a rate of:

• 1 for $5

• 3 for $10

• 20 for $20

• 100 for $50

3). Ticket sales will end on Saturday, May 31st 2026 at 11:59PM with the draw taking place at our main office on Sunday June 1st, 2026 at 9:00AM.

4). The winner will receive a cash prize of 50% of ticket sales.

5). All ticket numbers will be emailed to ticket purchasers by the registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) (Rafflebox). A physical ticket will not be mailed out for this draw.

6). The winner will be determined by a random draw utilizing an (AGCO) registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) Random Number Generator (RNG).

7). The winner will be contacted by email. The winning ticket holder has six months to claim their prize from the date of the draw their ticket was purchased for. Unclaimed prizes will be donated to the charity, with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).

8). Draw results will appear under the "Winners" tab found on the main raffle page.

9). By playing you consent to having your name and winning numbers published.

10). Ticket purchasers do not need to be present for the draw. All ticket purchasers must be at least 18 years of age to purchase and win a prize. All ticket sales will take place in Ontario only.
