2026 Palliative Care Telethon 50/50 Rules and Regulations
1. The Brockville & District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care Telethon 50/50 is authorized and licensed by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario License #
2. The purchase of the Brockville & District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care Telethon 50/50 tickets binds you to the rules of the Lottery.
3. Ticket holder must be 18 years of age or older at the time of purchase.
4. Ticket purchasers must be located in the province of Ontario at the time of purchase.
5. Tickets will be sold using an electronic raffle system (www.rafflebox.com/BDHFTelethon5050)
6. After buying tickets, purchaser will receive a confirmation email with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.
7. Tickets can be purchased between beginning January 12, 2026 at 12:00 am and ending February 21, 2026 at 3:00pm.
8. The winning ticket will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw.
9. The actual prize amount varies with participation.
10. Fifty percent of all monies received for the draw will be awarded to one winner. The other fifty percent of all monies received will be used towards the Brockville & District Palliative Care Telethon, raising funds for the Palliative Care program at Brockville General Hospital.
11. Draw will be conducted on February 21, 2026 at 4:00pm at MBC Media, 100 Strowger Blvd. Brockville.
12. Ticket price is 10/$5, 30/$20, 150/$50, 300/$75 or 500/$100.
13. There is no limit to the number of tickets that may be purchased per person.
14. No tax receipt can be issued for the purchase of tickets to the Brockville & District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care Telethon 50/50.
15. The winner is the person whose number is drawn through the RNG. The winner will be notified by phone that they have won.
a. The winner may claim their prize by contacting the Brockville & District Hospital Foundation at: 613-345-4478 or by email at: foundation@brockvillegeneralhospital.ca. The ticket may be brought to the Brockville & District Hospital Foundation office at an agreed upon time for ticket verification. The winner will then be paid by cheque from the Brockville & District Hospital Foundation Lottery Trust Account for the amount posted on www.rafflebox.com/BDHFTelethon5050. Winners must have the original winning ticket, no copies or forwarded emails. All payments will be made by cheque.
b. The winning ticket holder has 6 months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw in which their ticket was purchased for.
c. The winner must provide their name, address, and phone number with picture identification.
d. Once the certified winner is verified, and provides photo identification, they will be given a cheque in the amount of the declared prize, which is 50% of the total sales for the draw. If the winner cannot provide photo identification, the winning prize will be held until such identification can be provided.
e. In the event that no winner comes forward, the winning number will be kept and held for 6 months. After that time period has elapsed, the prize will be donated to a charity other than the Brockville & District Hospital Foundation, with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
f. The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the Brockville & District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care Telethon 50/50:
i. Board and staff members of the Brockville & District Hospital Foundation, and their families residing in the same household.
g. The winner’s name and ticket will be posted on bdhfoundation.com website, as well as our social media channels including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
16. Only tickets that have been sold will be entered in the draw. Once the winning number has been drawn, the draw will be considered complete.
17. The Brockville & District Hospital Foundation Board of Directors will be the final arbiter in any disputes related to the Lottery.
18. The Brockville & District Hospital Foundation does NOT have access to personal information for any person who purchases a ticket for the 50/50 raffle. If you move or change your personal information, you must contact the Brockville & District Hospital Foundation directly in order to keep your account up to date.
19. The Brockville & District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care Telethon 50/50 has been approved by the Board of Directors of the Brockville & District Hospital Foundation for the purpose of raising funds for Brockville General Hospital.

Personal information collected will be used to administer and evaluate the Raffle Draw, including fulfilling raffle ticket orders and contacting and publicizing the name of the winner. We may also use your information to connect with you to keep you informed about the Brockville & District Hospital Foundation. We do not rent, sell or trade our mailing lists.
