Water Ski & Wake Alberta WSWA is very excited to launch an online 50/50 cash raffle fundraiser!

The winner will receive 50% of ticket sales up to a maximum of $2,500

At WSWA, our mission is to promote the participation and excellence in all aspects of towed water sports in Alberta. This is achieved through introduction of the sport to beginners; development of skill level in competition and officiating and providing support and encouragement to towed water sports enthusiasts and their families at local, provincial, national and international levels.

Over the past 50 years, Water Ski & Wakeboard Alberta has been offering programs and events. We have partnerships with our clubs and schools and coaches who work with us to deliver these programs and events. At Water Ski & Wakeboard Alberta we live the lake life and we have a passion for our time on the water with our family and friends. Whether our athletes choose a path of high performance or recreation, we develop athletes that are Skiers and Riders for life!

Proceeds from your generous support will help us with support to 2 major water ski events this summer. We will run the 50/50 Draw until August 7. WSWA is please to support these major water ski events to bring exposure to our sport that will increase membership in our association. The support will go to the Canadian Junior Open Water Ski event at Shalom Park and the Calgary Cup Overall Tour at Predator Bay. The Canadian Junior Open is a 2-round, world record-capable event will feature U21 Junior Men/Junior Women and U17 Boys/Girls athletes. The Jr. Canadian Open will be home to the world's top junior water ski athletes competing in Canada this 2022 summer. The Calgary Cup Overall Tour is Stop # 2 on the tour and is part of the World Water Skiers (WWS) Overall Tour, which also features events in France, Austria and the United States. This is first year for the Calgary event which will build over a five-year plan for the series to grow in multiple cities around the globe. This event will feature the world’s best skiers and reward those who can excel in all three events of slalom, trick and jump. This will showcase international skiers, male and female who are the best overall skiers.

You are not required to be a member of WSWA to participate in the raffle as it is open to anyone in Alberta over the age of 18. But check us out and all we have to offer, and we hope you take out a membership too and join the lake life! www.wswa.ca
