Central Albertans, including your own friends and neighbours, have been deeply affected by COVID-19. Individuals and families who were already vulnerable, including those living in poverty, continue to face overwhelming challenges.  Paying the rent is a daily worry.  Finding, and keeping employment is extremely difficult. The demand for social services has skyrocketed. The need for vital supports, including mental health counselling and food hampers, has risen sharply.
