ROWAN HOUSE SOCIETY RAFFLE DESCRIPTION

Rowan House’s mission is to provide crisis intervention, long-term support, and preventative education to break the cycle of domestic abuse in our communities – but we know we can not do it alone. We must work together to ensure we can all thrive in safe and empowering relationships.

This year, you can help create change, by being part of our Golf Tournament and Fundraiser on July 7, 2022, at the Highwood Golf and Country Club in High River. This event will help us raise the funds needed to continue to provide the programs and services that support all individuals affected by domestic violence and abuse in our community. The theme of this event is Through the Looking Glass as this represents the journey of self-discovery that our clients endure. This essence will be experienced throughout our engaging activities followed by a dinner and evening program with awards. As part of our Golf Tournament, we are hosting a Backyard BBQ Party Raffle in collaboration with Home Hardware, Sobeys, and Highwood Distillers, right here in the Foothills! This incredible prize is valued at $1,649.99 and includes a Mosaic Premier Propane Grill BBQ and all the essentials you need to host a backyard party, such as groceries, meats, and beverages. You can purchase a ticket for this Raffle until July 7th, 2022, at 7:00 PM to be entered for a chance to win! The winner will be drawn on July 7th, 2022, at the Highwood Golf and Country Club in High River, Alberta. The announcement will be made in-person, on this Rafflebox portal and through our social media. Please note, Rowan House staff will reach out to the winner and arrange for pick up.

We know that ending domestic violence and abuse may seem like an impossible task, but as the Queen from Alice Through the Looking Glass states, “Sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.” Strides are being made, and we truly believe in your ability to make a difference within our local community.

Funds raised through our Golf Tournament and Backyard BBQ Party Raffle will support the many individuals throughout the Foothills who find the strength to reach out for help. Please join us in creating change today.
