1. The Indigenous Innovation Centre will be a multi-use space sufficiently large enough to accommodate core staff and basic activities connected to the following functions:

• An Indigenous activity centre: a place for Indigenous people to gather, meet others, converse, and create in a culturally safe space within the town of Cochrane
• Navigation centre: providing one-stop shopping for Indigenous people seeking services in Cochrane
• Support services: providing culturally appropriate mental health and wellness and community development service 
• An Indigenous embassy: to engage Cochrane leadership, institutions in the process of building healthy and constructive relationships with Indigenous people
• Friendship centre: a safe platform to build improved relationships between Indigenous people and other Cochrane residents
• A small business and employment development hub
• An Indigenous language and cultural activity centre
• An Indigenous arts development centre

2. The gaming proceeds will primarily assist to support the start-up operational costs of the project. This may include: human resources associated with program coordination, board development and Indigenous education materials.
