About The Rotary Club of Whitecourt - Awarded Nonprofit of the Year for 2023

• We are a volunteer service club that raises money to support many different community projects to benefit all residents of Whitecourt and area.

• Rotarians are People of Action!

• Some of our projects include:

       - Festival Park (Over $ 1 Million Dollars in support and grants)

       - Support of Seniors and Youth programs including senior’s week BBQ or pancake breakfast,

       - Summer Unplugged Program,(Youth Camps) 

       - Dolly Parton Imagination Library, (Free Books to children 0-5) 

       - Apple Dumpling Gang (An Anti-bullying Program), 

       - Rotary Music Festival, 

       - Neighbourhood Block Party BBQs,

       - Adventure Programs (Teen Educational and Leadership Camps), 

       - Library After School Program, 

       - Donations for Senior’s recreational needs & new stove, plus numerous other projects to benefit families and children.  

       - Donations & Volunteer hours to Eastlink Park (In town ski & Snowboard hill)

       - Volunteer Hours to local 2nd hand stores and support and volunteers for The Food Bank

• The Annual Rotary Club of Whitecourt Lobsterfest has raised money for all the programs it supports in the community for 26 years.

• Your support of our 50/50 Raffle portion of the Lobsterfest Fundraiser will help up reach our goal. 50% of the proceeds will go to the winner.
