The Powell River Kings Hockey Club Society is a Non-Profit Society. The organization operates a Junior Hockey franchise known as the Powell River Kings and are members of the BC Hockey League. The Game Night 50/50 is a very popular raffle that provides the team with much needed revenue, and also serves as a very popular raffle with the Kings supporters who look forward to buy in for their chance to win. Last season, the average winnings were nearly $1,500 per game. The net proceeds from this game night 50/50 will help the Hockey Club afford expenses such as staff wages, travel costs, equipment, and other administrative needs. The ticket prices are affordable with ticket packages starting at 3 for $5, 12 for $10, 30 for $20, and 100 for $50.
