The NWT SPCA is a non-profit registered charity that has helped companion animals in need since 1988. Through animal rescue, progressive programs, rehoming opportunities, and partner networks, we have helped 1000's of animals over the years. Abandoned, injured, homeless or abused each one deserves a second chance. Our shelter staff work tirelessly to rebuild trust, and to make sure each animal receives the care required until a forever home is found.

NWT SPCA is the largest SPCA in the NWT located in Yellowknife. We are a volunteer-based organization striving to protect and enhance the quality of life for all domestic animals in the Northwest Territories. We are here to help all 33 communities in the NWT and western Nunavut. These programs are improving the welfare of our Northern pets and the communities they live in.
