The Mental Health Foundation raises and disburses funds to improve addiction and mental health care for people in Alberta. As the only Mental Health Foundation in the province, we are tasked with working to support, enhance, and transform mental health care through philanthropy. Our goal is to ensure that every Albertan has the mental health support they need, when they need it most. 

Today, someone in our community is desperate for support. Close to relapse, alone, afraid, or having thoughts of harming themselves. With your help, we can provide better access to the care they need to thrive.

From cutting edge brain stimulation equipment for treatment-resistant depression, to the creation of Kickstand Connect—a new, online, integrated service for young people—your support has transformed mental health care across the province. With your contribution, the Foundation can move quickly to respond to urgent needs across the mental health and addictions care system.

Our Annual Breakfast Fundraiser aims to raise awareness, understanding and support for urgent mental health issues that affect many of us personally, and all of us collectively. We’ll work together to raise money and advocate for change so everyone has a place to go and the support they need when they need it most.
