Lions Clubs of Nova Scotia Monthly 50/50 Lottery! January!

The Lions Clubs of Nova Scotia are excited to announce our Monthly Online 50/50 fundraiser.

Covid-19 has forced us to change how we raise money, but at the same time it has also increased the need for many of the things we do.

The money we raise will go right back to your local Lions Club, allowing Lions across Nova Scotia to continue doing the valuable work that they’ve always done in your communities.

When purchasing tickets, please select the Lions Club you wish to support, as the money raised will go directly to that group.

Each month one winner will be selected to receive 50% of the total sales!

Ticket Sales End: January 31st (11:59 pm)
Draw Date: Thursday February 4th (7 pm)
Draw Location: Bedford Lions Club, 36 Holland Ave. Bedford

The winner will be contacted to claim their prize payout.

Tickets purchased without selecting a specific Lions Club will be used to promote this draw.

Bedford Lions Club 50/50 House Rules

1. Ticket Sales

Tickets will be sold monthly and only tickets sold during a given calendar month will be eligible.

* Tickets purchased after 12:00 AM Halifax time, on the first day of the month are ineligible for the previous months draw and will be included in the subsequent drawing.

2. Time and Location of Draws

Drawings will take place at the LeBrun Centre located at 36 Holland Ave. Bedford, NS, on the first Thursday of each month between 6PM and 9 PM Halifax time.

At least 2 members of the Lions Club, who do not reside in the same household, will be present to supervise the drawing, which will be recorded on video and distributed via Social Media.

The actual ticket selection may be conducted by guests to the club, including youth and or other

community groups, but under the direct supervision of the Lions Club.

In the event the above time is deemed unsuitable, or the location described above is unavailable for any reason, notice of an updated time and or location for the drawing will be posted on the Bedford Lions Club Facebook page prior to 9PM on the first Thursday of the month.

*Regardless of when the draw is made, the eligible tickets are only those sold in the previous calendar month.

3. Selection of a Winner

The winner will be selected by selecting a single ticket from the eligible tickets purchased.

If the civic address provided on the ticket is outside of Nova Scotia, that ticket will be deemed void, and another ticket will be selected.

If after 90 days, a winner has not come forward to claim their prize, a second draw will be held.

4. Prize Structure

Unless otherwise specified prior to the start of a new month’s draw, there will be 1 prize equal to 50% of the total gross ticket sales.

5. Eligibility

All residents of Nova Scotia over the age of 19 are eligible to win. There is no restriction on Lions Club Members, family or associates.

6. Minimum Ticket Sales

As the prize is 50% of gross ticket sales, there is no minimum sales volume required for this draw.
