Kin Canada is an all-Canadian service organization made up of dedicated member volunteers
who serve their community’s greatest need through hosting and sponsoring events and
community service projects. Since its founding, Kin, Kinsmen and Kinette clubs across Canada
have contributed more than $1 billion to Canadian communities and disaster relief programs
beyond our borders.
Kinsmen, Kinette, and Kin clubs across the country work to better their communities, enhance
the well-being of Canadians and improve the environment. The Association was founded in
1920 and has a history dedicated to fostering lifelong friendships while ‘Serving the
Community’s Greatest Need.’
The Kinsmen Club of Sackville has been "Serving the Community's Greatest Need" since 1961.
The club members come from all walks of life but share a common dedication to helping those
in need in our community.
Funds raised by this raffle will support the Cobequid Health Centre Foundation and Emergency Room in Sackville.

House Rules
1. Location, Day, Time of ticket sales and Draw
Draw will take place at: Kinsmen Club of Sackville 71 First Lake Drive, Lower Sackville NS (B4C 2S9)
Draw Day: 3rd day of each month for the preceding months draw.
Draw Time 7:30 pm
Tickets will be sold online through the Raffle Box platform/website between the 1st Day of each month
to the last day of each month
About Scheduling of draw dates.
The conducting of the draw is an integral part of the integrity of any lottery. A ticket lottery licensee is obligated
to conduct the draw on the advertised date as printed on the ticket and announce the winning ticket number(s).

: (Minimum age of 19 to purchase tickets)
• It is the ticket purchasers’ responsibility to check their tickets at the point of purchase. Any and
all ticket discrepancies, errors and concerns must be brought forward prior to the end time of
ticket sales for that month.
2. Prize Info
1. The licensee is responsible for determining the winner(s) of the lottery as set out in the application on the
prescribed date; the publicizing of the winner(s); and the awarding of all prizes as advertised. Should a winner
not come forward, every reasonable effort is to be made to contact the prize winner(s).
2. Only the prize(s) as described in the application shall be awarded. Any prize(s) not claimed are to be placed in
safe keeping for 90 days from the date of draw. Should the prize(s) not be claimed at the end of that period, a
second draw is to be held.
3. The value of the prize(s) shall include any duty, taxes or other related costs and shall be free of any lien(s). The breakdown of the Gross Sales of the raffle are:
50% of the gross monthly sales will go to the Kinsmen Club of Sackville.
50% of the gross monthly sales will be awarded to the winning ticket holder.
3. Process
The tickets for the draw will be secured each month and held in the locked and alarmed bar at the
Kinsmen Club of Sackville.
• The winning number will be announced both verbally and displayed visually.
• (Additional time can be approved by the AGFT for larger scale draws with multiple selling
venues)
• All prize money will be awarded to the winning ticket holder. Depending on the value of the
prize pot, the winner may be required to come to the Kinsmen Club of Sackville with picture ID
to claim the winnings in the form of a cheque.
• All ticket draws and card selections will be recorded on video via facebook live.
The person drawing the ticket or involved in the setup of the ticket draw for that current draw must
not hold a ticket for that draw; this includes the licensee. (Licensee refers to the signatures on the
Ticket Lottery Application)
