1. Ticket sales will begin on the 1st day of every month. Draws will be held on the 30th day of every month at Giant Steps Toronto/York Region in Unionville, Ontario.
2. Tickets can only be purchased online at www.giantstepsraffle.ca using a credit card as form of payment. Accepted credit cards are VISA, Mastercard and American Express.
3. Ticket prices are: 1 ticket for $10, 5 tickets for $20, 25 tickets for $50, and 100 tickets for $100.
4. Ticket purchasers must be at least 18 years of age and residents of Ontario.
5. Tickets are sold using an electronic raffle system approved by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario and supplied by Rafflebox.
6. Tickets are issued through a random selection system and sent via email to the address provided by the purchaser. No specific numbers can be requested as numbers are generated randomly.
7. The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system administered by Rafflebox from all raffle tickets sold for that particular draw.
8. The winner will receive 50 percent of the month's total ticket sales at the time of the draw. The remaining 50 percent of the prize will go to Giant Steps Toronto/York Region.
9. The winner and winning number will be announced online at www.giantstepsraffle.ca, www.giantstepstoronto.ca, and on Giant Steps' social media channels.
10. Winners will be contacted using the email address and/or telephone number provided online at the time of purchase.
11. The prize must be claimed by the individual named in the original purchase transaction.
12. To receive their prize, winning ticket holders will need to produce two pieces of identification, one of which must be a government-issued photo ID. The prize payment will be paid by cheque only – no cash.
13. Winners agree to be named publicly, along with the prize value, at www.giantstepsraffle.ca, www.giantstepstoronto.ca and Giant Steps' social media channels.
14. Winning ticket holders have 6 months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw. Winning numbers will remain posted at www.giantstepsraffle.ca for six months following the draw date.
15. Unclaimed 50/50 prizes will be held for 6 months at which time the unclaimed proceeds will be donated to Giant Steps Toronto/York Region with approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
