We are excited to announce our online 50/50 raffle!

BeMorr Society is a non-profit registered charitable organization. Following Brook’s passing in 2020, the Morrison family envisioned a way to move through the grief and loss to help others who are also struggling with mental health. After many discussions around the Morrison kitchen table, the BeMorr Society non-profit came to life. As we navigated through the construction of the Society it became abundantly clear to us that the stigma around reaching out for help for those struggling with mental health, as well as the financial burden of seeking that help, was a barrier for many across Canada. As such, we decided to take an active stance and assist those who need immediate and ongoing assistance. We exist to ensure those affected by mental health issues including PTSD and Suicidal thoughts/actions are empowered and supported to seek the help they need and feel safe to speak openly with cost of care not being a barrier. For those who are not able to afford the services, we will provide financial assistance. Financial assistance will come from donations and grants, and through fundraising events, such as the Hawaiian Shirt Gala.

Funds raised by this raffle will help us continue to offer our Mental Wellness Program which includes the Counselling Assistance program, Peer Support Groups, Community Awareness, Mental Health First Aid and more.

The winner will be announced at our 2nd Annual Hawaiian Shirt Gala and will be contacted to claim the prize.
