Breast Friends Dragon Boat Racing
Team was formed in 1998 to:
· encourage
those who have been diagnosed with breast cancer to lead full and active lives
· demonstrate
the benefits of an active lifestyle through the sport of dragon boating
· raise
awareness about breast cancer and encourage the pursuit of a cure
· provide
support and fellowship to team members
· To
have fun!
While there are many effective
treatments for fighting Breast Cancer, they will sap your energy, you may miss
work and face financial challenges. Social isolation and fear can affect your
mental health, and it can feel as if cancer has stolen your physical and
emotional well-being.
Breast
Friends helps breast cancer survivors take back that power.
We are
women from Edmonton and surrounding communities, from every walk of life, of
all ages, and with varied fitness levels. We are all breast cancer survivors.
Each
member of our team proves that life can be full, vigorous and filled with joy
after a diagnosis of breast cancer.

BREAST FRIENDS SOCIETY OF EDMONTON RAFFLE RULES
1. Players must reside in Alberta, 18 years or older, and use a major credit card, Visa Debit or MasterCard Debit. Credit cards used for payment must have an Alberta Address.
2. Tickets will be available online and sold at a rate of:
- 1 for $10 – 50 packages available
- 3 for $20 – 75 packages available
- 10 for $50 – 20 packages available
- 25 for $100 – 20 packages available
3. Ticket sales will end on January 11, 2021 at 11:59PM with the draw taking place at 325, 52313 Range Road 232, Sherwood Park, AB
4. The winner will receive a minimum cash prize of $1,000 or 50% of ticket sales (whichever is greater) up to a maximum of $2,500.
5. The winner will be determined by a random draw. The winner will be contacted by phone and email. The winner has 90 days to claim their prize, a second draw from the same numbers will occur after 90 days if the prize goes unclaimed.
6. Draw results will be announced on Facebook, as well as emailed to our players and participating organizations.
7. By playing you consent to having your name and winning numbers published.
8. The person(s) drawing the winning number must not hold a ticket for that draw. Volunteers and family members not involved in the draw are eligible to participate.
