1. Players must be 18 years or older, and
use a major credit card or Visa Debit. Purchase must be made in the province of Alberta.
2. Tickets will be available online and
sold at a rate of:
- 1
for $5 – 100 ticket packages = 100 tickets
- 10
for $10 – 12,570 ticket packages = 125,700 tickets
- 50
for $20 – 40,240 ticket packages = 2,012,000 tickets
- 200
for $50 – 21,380 ticket packages 4,276,000 tickets
- There
are 6,413,800 tickets in total available for sale
3. Ticket sales will end on December 17 at 11:59pm with the draw
taking place at United Way of Calgary and Area Head Office on Monday, December
20th between 8:00 - 9:00 AM.
4. The winner will
receive a minimum cash prize of 50% of ticket sales.
5. The winner will be determined by a
random draw utilising a certified AGLC ERS providers (Rafflebox) random number
generator. A physical ticket will not be mailed out for this draw. An email
confirmation with your ticket numbers will be provided after purchase.
6. The winner will be contacted by phone and email by a United Way
of Calgary and Area Staff member. The winner has 90 days to claim their prize,
once the prize is claimed by the winner they will receive their prize payment
by cheque in the mail or EFT. If the
prize remains unclaimed after 90 days the prize will be donated to the United
Way of Calgary and Area charitable organization.
7. By playing you consent to having your name and
winning numbers published.
8. The person(s) drawing the
winning number must not hold a ticket for that draw. United Way of Calgary and
Area staff, campaign associates, brand ambassadors, volunteers or board members
and their immediate family are not eligible to participate and cannot not hold
a winning ticket in the draw.
9. If any
ticket purchased has been entered in the draw, no refund will be issued after
the draw has taken place.
10. Only upon demonstrating
extraordinary circumstances to the 50/50 raffle will the Licensee make a
request for a draw date extension
