Imagine a beautiful garden where the winds of history blow softly through the trees. Imagine a place where you can explore seventeen acres of paradise. That garden exists in historic Annapolis Royal and we need your help to keep it flourishing. Opened in 1981, the Annapolis Royal Historic Gardens tells the story of Nova Scotia through unique plantings, heritage landscapes and historical designs. Over the past 40 years, the Historic Gardens has brought history to life and has become an award winning, internationally renowned botanical garden.

The Historic Gardens is owned and operated by the Annapolis Royal Historic Gardens Society, a not for profit organization and registered charity. We could not do what we do without the generosity of the many individuals, businesses and organizations who support us.
