Alaska Professional Hunters Association Raffle - Carmen Island is the best place in Mexico for hunting South Baja Desert Bighorn Sheep, actually according to the SCI Record Book, Mexico Hunts has 6 of the top 10 trophies registered in this category. The numbers talk by themselves. With first class accommodations Carmen Island is a true paradise for bow or rifle hunting.

This hunt with Sergio Jiminez (Outfitter) at Mexico Hunts is for a mature ram of 9-10 years old or more and age is the main criteria. Hunters are taking sheep with scores in the 160 class, maybe low 170´s, scores on this kind of sheep have ranged from 158 to 171 pts.

Included: Boat and ground transportation to/from Loreto International Airport-Carmen Island; first-class lodging, Mexican gourmet food & drinks; guides; exclusive use of the Island during the scheduled days (this means there will not be any other hunter during the clients stay); one non-hunter companion; boat transportation during the hunt; caping and salt drying; after the hunt is finished, clients are welcome to stay to enjoy some fishing days, snorkeling and/or kayaking or just relaxing on the private beaches of Carmen Island during their scheduled days. Hunting license; Sheep Tag; CITES permit; Temporary Federal Gun Importation Permit; State and Federal Taxes and Conservation Fee. This is an 8 days trip, with 6 full hunting days.
