The Alzheimer Society exists to alleviate the personal and social consequences of Alzheimer's disease and related dementia and to promote research. The 3 North Eastern Ontario Alzheimer Societies work in partnership to offer caregiver support and education, general education on dementia to the public and stakeholders, support families transitioning from home into a care setting and offer intentional programming in our adult day programs.
