of Hope is excited to announce our prize raffle fundraiser in support of ACWS!

The Gifts of Hope Committee is a
dedicated group of community volunteers who banded together to create an annual
event to educate women about domestic violence and to provide them with the
tools to identify and escape abusive situations. They created an elegant night
out for women. This evening aims to foster awareness of domestic abuse and
raise funds to support the Alberta Council of Women's Shelters (ACWS). ACWS is
a provincial organization that supports member shelters with meaningful,
long-term projects and data-gathering. The passionate and talented women who
have served on the Gifts of Hope Committee have partnered with ACWS for the
past eight years to offer awareness, education and ultimately hope. They are
our everyday heroes, saving lives, supporting women, and strengthening
community.
Funds raised by this raffle will support ACWS so they can continue to advocate for
members and work with them to end domestic violence through culture-shifting
violence prevention programs, collective data and research, and front-line
training.
The winners will be contacted to claim their prize.
Winners will receive (1) of the following:
· First ticket drawn (Winner a): Osoyoos Vacation Package 2022: 2-night stay at Casa Del Mila Oro Resort (excluding dates in July & August 2022) in Osoyoos, BC. Condo sleeps 6 people (3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms), outdoor pool & hot tub, includes $100 gift card for resort activities. Valued at $1000.00 CAD.
· Second ticket drawn (Winner b): Downtown Edmonton Package: 2-night stay at Chateau Lacombe hotel, includes breakfast & parking; plus 2 tickets to an Edmonton Oilers game (lower bowl, game TBD). Prize winner can select dates for hotel stay & Oilers game. Valued at $1000.00 CAD.
